I kicked off this blog because I seriously love camping. Not just putting up with it or doing it a couple of times a year to tick a box — I’m all in! I love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, biking, kayaking, soaking in the scenery, breathing in the smells, or spotting wildlife. Traveling isn’t just a choice for me; I dream about cruising around the country for a month in a huge motorhome. But honestly, I’m also totally cool with a nice tent setup. Tent campsites in state parks usually check all the boxes for being in nature! Plus, with a bit of planning, tents can feel really cozy. Other times, I just want to grab a suitcase and not plan anything except which port to leave from. This blog covers all that and more, focusing on being comfortable, affordable, fun, educational, and all about the outdoors!

Honestly, watching this blog slowly come together — and getting a little better at building it with each attempt — might end up being its own story worth telling. Maybe that becomes a post here someday too.
